San Diego's Sub-70 Streak Stops
Six Consecutive Cold Records Set or Tied

While much of the rest of the country swelters, coastal Southern California has been having a cool streak. After 11 consecutive days below 70°, San Diego reached a high of 71° yesterday. Record low maximum temperature records were set or tied for 6 consecutive days at San Diego (old record in parentheses):
July  5 65° (66°, 1933)
July 6 65° (tied 1912)
July 7 66° (tied 1909)
July 8 64° (65°, 1902)
July 9 65° (66°, 1909)
July 10 67° (tied 1916)
