OTHER RECORDS ESTABLISHED TODAY INCLUDE MERCED AIRPORT WITH 95
DEGREES...MADERA AIRPORT AT 98 DEGREES. THESE BOTH BROKE RECORDS
THAT WERE SET IN 2002. IN HANFORD MUNICIPAL AIRPORT THE HIGH TODAY
WAS 97...BREAKING THE OLD RECORD SET IN 1998. HOWEVER THESE ARE

Here are some National Weather Service reports at 1 pm PDT (locations marked with an asterisk are not official NWS or FAA stations). The 96° at Burbank breaks the 1958 record by 5°.
