It was still hot in south-central Texas on Friday, but temperatures failed to reach the century mark for a change in San Antonio and Austin. The highs for August 28:
Austin/Mabry 98°This is only the third time this month that the temperature has failed to reach 100° at Austin. Temperatures are once again forecast to be in the upper 90s in the region on Saturday.
