According to this morning's preliminary reports from the National Climatic Data Center, 4 all-time record high temperatures were set on June 26, and 5 more were tied. Locations ranged from Texas through Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado. New records were:

Incredible and concerning how so many of the previous record highs were themselves just set in the past year or few years.....
Or even yesterday in some cases (Sidney, for example, although the period of record there is only 47 years)! In other cases, records that have stood for decades since the great Dust Bowl of the 1930s are also falling.
