Southern Storm Threatens Tulsa All-Time Snowfall Records


A storm now moving across the Southern Plains is threatening to break Tulsa, Oklahoma's all-time monthly and seasonal snowfall records. The National Weather Service reports:

Light snow began at Tulsa shortly before 10 pm CST tonight. By midnight, visibility was down to 1.5 miles. Precipitation was only 0.02", but the depth of snow on the ground had increased by 1". Total new snow accumulation is forecast to be 6-9".
