As was the case yesterday, the Washington, DC region remains on the edge of an area of 40%+ probability of cooler than average temperatures for the extended range. That 8-14 day range now ends on Inauguration Day, January 20.
The probability is also 40%+ for below-average readings in the precipitation department.
